The Life in My City Art Festival (LIMCAF) has launched its 2025 Virtual Bootcamp, and it's already making waves!
Started on May 6, the bootcamp brings together 12 young artists (6 male, 6 female) selected from the 2024 LIMCAF finalists. Over two weeks, they’ll be mentored by top professionals in the Nigerian art scene, including Jacob Onoja, Kent Onah, Ayo Aina, Chike Obeagu, and others.
The training covers essential areas like:
Art photography and packaging
Artist bios and portfolio development
Social media and client management
Creative thinking and presentation
This initiative helps prepare young artists for real-world success, continuing LIMCAF’s mission to support emerging talents.The bootcamp runs until May 20 and is one of several LIMCAF programmes that nurture creativity across Nigeria.
Meanwhile, entries for LIMCAF 2025 are still open until May 31. With prizes worth millions of naira, including the top $2,000 Elder Kalu Young Artist of the Year Prize, there’s a lot to look forward to!
