LIMCAF Virtual Bootcamp

The Life in My City Art Foundation (LIMCAF) Virtual Bootcamp is a transformative programme designed to equip emerging artists with practical skills and professional insight.

Held annually, the bootcamp brings together 12 outstanding young artists (6 male and 6 female) selected from LIMCAF finalists. Over two weeks, participants are mentored by leading professionals in the Nigerian art scene including Prof Chijioke Onuorah, Dr.Jacob Onoja, Kent Onah, Ayo Aina, Chike Obeagu, and others.

The training covers essential areas such as art photography and packaging, artist bios and portfolio development, social media and client management, as well as creative thinking and presentation.

This initiative prepares young artists for real-world success, continuing LIMCAF’s mission to support and elevate emerging talents.

Meanwhile, entries for LIMCAF 2026 remain open until May 31, with prizes worth millions of naira, including the prestigious $2,000 Elder Kalu Young Artist of the Year Prize.

LIMCAF is proud to be shaping the future of Nigerian art — one young artist at a time.
